Revolutionary Preform inspection
INTRAVIS caused a sensation at the K show
With the PreMon, INTRAVIS, a world market leader for vision inspection systems for the plastic packaging industry, presented a revolutionary monitoring system for the inspection of preforms. Integrated into the transport process from the injection molding machine to the filling of the preforms into the octabin, the PreMon inspects up to 70% of the preforms for typical defects such as contamination, defects at the top sealing surface or color deviations. As a highlight, in addition to its revolutionary, massive parallel transport technology, the PreMon monitoring system offers the option of sorting out defective preforms directly.
INTRAVIS also presented the IntraOptimizer software. This software for the optimization of production processes combines recorded quality data with data from injection molding machines and customers knowledge. Based on these information, the software recommends actions to take in order to promptly solve persistent errors in production.
With the CapWatcher Q-Line, INTRAVIS exhibited an established system that raises inline closure inspection to a new level. The collection of up to 144,000 quality data per minute enables the operator to make the best decisions for his production process.
In addition to these systems, INTRAVIS also showcased four IMLWatcher systems with the new IML-dedicated software designed exclusively for IML defects, including some improvements in the installation and inspection process.
