Shoe with a Heel Cap as well as Shoe with an Ankle Collar

The present invention relates to shoes, in particular sports shoes, and methods for their manufacture. According to an aspect of the invention, a shoe is provided, in particular a sports shoe, with an upper comprising a textile region in the forefoot and / or midfoot region as well as a heel cap of the upper which encompasses a heel of a foot from behind and on a medial and lateral side. Solely the heel cap forms a heel region of the upper and the heel cap is manufactured essentially as one piece from a non-textile flexible plastic material.
