Verbesserung der Oberflächeneigenschaften von SMC-Bauteilen mit Hilfe der Prozesssimulation
This article presents a theoretical model that is able to describe the relative velocity of enclosed gas bubbles during compression moulding of sheet moulding compound (SMC). The model is implemented into a process simulation program to analyse the appearance of surface porosity on SMC-parts. The model is verified by practical experiments using design of experiments (DoE).
