Key parameter study on unidirectional braided carbon fiber reinforced composite laminates

In this study a methodic for the characterization of the process depending mechanical properties of unidirectional braided CFRP laminates is presented. The key approach base on braided coupon specimens, which were characterized respectively the fiber architecture in textile and in CFRP state. The correlation of the undulation angles with the corresponding compression strength and tensile modulus is the basis for a mathematically formulation to define the process depending properties.
