Einflüsse auf die Eigenschaften kleiner und dünnwandiger Spritzgussteile

In this paper, the interrelationships of material properties, processing conditions, inner properties, and the resulting part properties of micro-injection-molded and thin-wall parts are examined. Morphological structures are analyzed and correlated to mechanical properties important for part design as yield stress and modulus of elasticity in tension in this study. The results show that material properties of semi-crystalline polymers determined on standard tensile specimens are only of limited use in designing micro-injection-molded and thin-wall parts.
