X-ray tomograph with coordinate measuring machine TomoScope
Now with X-Ray Tomography
The TomoScope from Werth Messtechnik GmbH, Giessen, Germany, represents the first ever combination of an X-ray tomograph with a coordinate measuring machine. It thus allows the internal and external features of medical parts to be rapidly measured with the accuracy characteristic of coordinate measuring machines. The TomoScope is suitable for rapid initial sample inspection and for revalidating medical parts. Several hundred features can be measured in less than an hour. Thanks to the integration of grid tomography, even very small features can be measured with high resolution. The optional multisensor technology allows additional measurements to be made with high accuracy, and metrological validation to be performed on the workpiece itself.
