Feeding Systems Integrated

Wittmann

Central feeding unit Feedmax Plus (© Wittmann)

As usual, Wittmann Robot Systeme GmbH in Nürnberg, Germany, will present novelties from the areas of automation, temperature control and grinding technology, as well as material handling (especially new material feeding units). For instance, improved versions of two central feeding units, Feedmax Basic and Feedmax Plus, will be on display. With its bulk volume of 6 l, the Basic system is suitable for workcells or to fill drying bins up to 150 l volume. The benefits are that the unit is easy to clean and that the desired feeding time can be entered via a potentiometer. The maximum volume of the Plus feeding system is 80 l, which makes it suitable for application on the machine feed zone and with high material throughputs. The AmbiLED display shows the status of feeding for the two devices. All parts in contact with the product are cased in stainless steel, which leads to high quality standards. The Net5 system has been improved, now enabling individual feeding systems to be integrated. The Teachbox Basic is at the heart of the system. It allows the user to centralize up to 24 feeding devices and control additional systems from the Wittmann range of products. Via a 4.7 inch touchscreen, the operator can visualize all components and adapt process parameters.
