Thermoplastic resins and additives

Available in Great Variety

Together with raw material manufacturers, Nordmann, Rassmann GmbH, Hamburg, Germany, will exhibit a variety of product solutions in the form of thermoplastic resins and additives at the Fakuma plastics exhibition. Partners include: Asahi Kasei Corporation in Tokyo, Japan, Trovotech GmbH in Bitterfeld, Germany, Rockwood Pigments Brockhues GmbH & Co. KG in Walluf, Germany, Vita Thermoplastic Polymers (VTP) and Hubron (International) Ltd., both Manchester, United Kingdom, and Nanocyl s.a. in Sambreville, Belgium.

With Trovoguard, Trovotech introduces a new, antimicrobial glass powder. It contains zinc and silver in ionic form and as nanoparticles. The currently offered grades are characterized by their extremely long-lasting action. Hubron formulates black masterbatches to customer requirements; electrically conductive carbon black concentrates are new products being offered. Nanofil and Cloisite from Rockwood are innovative organoclays. These compositions are used, for instance, as reinforcing agents and flame retardant synergists in various resins. Carbon nanotubes (CNT) from Nanocyl serve as conductivity enhancers. They are offered as additives, concentrates or ready-to-process compounds.
