The new Armaflex RS850 series from Armacell GmbH

Drop Free Adhesives

Unlike their liquid predecessors the new Armaflex RS850 series from Armacell GmbH, Münster, Germany, are gel like. They are suitable for use with elastomeric insulation materials.

The thixotropic, gel like adhesives do not have to be stirred and have high viscosity. Since they release only minimal amounts of solvent when not being worked they are particularly suitable for installations in workshops and confined spaces. The one component adhesives can be used at working temperatures between -40 and +70°C. In comparison to standard adhesives they also have a longer shelf life (RS850: 3 years, Ultima RS850: 15 months).

Whilst the Ultima version was developed for products with the same name as well as other insulation materials based on Armaprene synthetic rubber, all other Armaflex products (apart from HT) can be installed with the other adhesive.
