As of now, spiral cores made from glass fiberreinforced plastic for optimum mold cooling are available from Meusburger Georg GmbH & Co KG, Wolfurt, Austria. Spiral cores E 2120 and E 2122 ensure uniform temperature distribution through close-contour cooling. The product range includes single- and doublethreaded versions. The single-threaded spiral cores arealready provided with an integrated vertical bore, which considerably reduces the amount of reworking required. All cores are available from stock in diameters of 12 to 50 mm and in various lengths.
