recycling equipment CEP

These Pellets Flow Cleanly

recycling equipment CEP

Rodent Recycling Machinery GmbH, Pucking, Austria, has redesigned its recycling equipment (type: CEP) to provide improved processing of reclaimed material. At the same time, the development engineers have taken energy efficiency into consideration. As a result, with the new screw, cutting geometry and material feed system designs they have been able to achieve an energy consumption of 0.19 kW/h per kg of polypropylene at an hourly throughput of 350 kg. According to information from the company, such values are 30 % below previous best values on the market.

By using water ring pelletizing, it is even possible to process materials with a viscosity of MFR 100. The dryer, the last component in the system, operates without the need for a centrifuge. This prevents fines and deformed pellets. The recycling machinery processes reclaimed material without time-consuming modification: regardless of whether metallized BOPP film (BOPP: biaxially oriented polypropylene), cosmetic tubes containing aqueous or oily residues, PA12 film or PS flakes – clean, precisely formed pellets ultimately flow out of the dryer.
