Mycook food processor made of Zytel HTN polyphthalamide

High-tech Material for the Kitchen

Mycook food processor made of Zytel HTN polyphthalamide

Three components in the new Mycook food processor from a Spanish domestic appliance manufacturer are made of Zytel HTN polyphthalamide produced by DuPont de Nemours Deutschland GmbH, Bad Homburg, Germany. This material was selected for the pitcher lid, pitcher support and insulating ring of the appliance because of its food compliance and, especially, its long-term heat resistance. The material also meets additional component requirements – cold-to-the-touch, as lightweight as possible, very robust, and attractive-looking.

Other advantages of the pitcher are that it is convenient to use thanks to its reduced weight, while being virtually unbreakable and easy to clean. Since this plastic is a poor heat conductor, the risk of burns is also much lower than with metal appliances.
