mobile injection unit E-Multi

For a Variety of Colors and Fast Cycles

mobile injection unit E-Multi

To provide injection molders with an economical way to expand their inventory of machines, Mold-Masters Europa GmbH, Baden-Baden, Germany, has introduced a mobile injection unit. The system is designated E-Multi and can be used for multi-component and multi-color applications. It is all-electric, servomotor-driven and can be mounted directly on the mold.

Mold-Masters has also developed a new needle shutoff nozzle specifically for cap and closure applications. The all-electric needle shutoff solution is based on the Sprint series, which has been designed for quick color changes. It is suitable for short cycles yet consumes little energy and provides excellent part quality. Furthermore, the system requires minimal maintenance. According to information from the company, the needle shutoff systems in the series are the fastest nozzles on the market for closure applicastions. The associated E-Drive-System ensures exact needle positioning, immediate adjustment of the needle position and smooth operation of all needles thanks to the servo-driven synchronizing plate system.
