MESIM stretching technology

Streching by 4

The MESIM-Technology strech special films (Figures: Andritz)

The Andritz Nonwoven & Biax Film development the MEchanical SIMultaneous stretching technology (MESIM), which provides unique film uniformity over the entire machine width. The film can be oriented in machine direction with ratios between 1:0.6 and 1:7 for controlled relaxation or stretching, while in transverse direction the film can be stretched between 1:1 and 1:10. In a newly developed process with stretching by 45°, producers can save raw material and thus dramatically reduce the production cost of the plastic films.

Film can be streched in an 45° angle
