The program package for injection molding simulation is now completely integrated into the latest version of Software NX, the tool for digital product development of Siemens PLM Software. With the integration of Moldex3D into NX 8.5, material and part properties can be analyzed and verified. NX EasyFill Analysis permits a professional simulation of the mold filling process. The lead time is reduced and ROI key indicators maximized by means of three-dimensional results, e.g. from the analysis of the filling, holding pressure and cooling behavior, warpage or fiber orientation, are available for maximizing the product design and the manufacturing process, for example to optimize the choice of the ideal gating point. The tool enables designers to check potential manufacturing defects without leaving the familiar NX working environment. With Moldex3D eDesignSync for NX, CoreTech System Co. Ltd., the developer of Moldex3D, offers extended functions that allow, for example, critical process factors to be visualized.
