Industrial pressure sensor TPFADA

Sensor for Difficult Media

Industrial pressure sensor TPFADA

The new TPFADA industrial pressure sensor from Gefran Deutschland GmbH, Seligenstadt, Germany, is designed for measuring viscous, contaminated or hardening fluids. Such media, which include oils, rubbers, plastics, pastes and chemical products, would clog up the pressure channel of a conventional pressure transducer.

Since the strain gauge is bonded directly to the back of the stainless steel diaphragm, no internal pressure transmitting-medium, such as silicone oil, is required. The extra-thick 2.2mm diaphragm enables the sensor to withstand the medium and permits trouble-free pressure measurement. Measuring ranges from 10 to 1000bar, a thick, robust diaphragm, compact design and an operating temperature up to 120°C make the sensor highly suitable for difficult applications in industrial measuring technology.
