Furtive-eGT

Sportive Electric Car

Furtive-eGT

As yet, only the prototype has been on display at the Paris Motor Show. However, as early as next year, the electric sports car will go into series production. Being the first all-electric luxury vehicle, the new Furtive-eGT combines high performance and environmental awareness to customer demands in terms of style and comfort, states producer Exagon Engineering. To design and develop the car, the French company used the NX and Teamcenter software solutions of Siemens PLM Software, which is a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation division.

Being the integrated software solution of computer aided design, manufacturing and engineering (CAD/CAM/CAE), NX represents the entire digital 3-D product development of the Furtive-eGT. The whole range of product data – including the detailed NX models – are administered safely, distributed and monitored by Teamcenter, which is the solution for digital Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) used most frequently all over the world, according to manufacturer information.
