Dry the Efficient Way

Adsorption Dryer with Integrated Heat Recovery

AxAir AT 8000 is the name of an adsorption dryer by Swegon Climate Systems Germany GmbH, Garching-Hochbrück, Germany. It is equipped with a silica gel rotor, and its dehumidification performance is 53 kg/h (at 20 °C, 60 % RH). According to supplier information, it guarantees efficient operation. The unit’s three-zone dehumidification rotor with a heat recovery sector consists of a fiber fabric on a ceramic basis. Integrated into the fabric is silica gel, a drying agent that effectively absorbs water. The housing is made of a galvanized aluminum sheet, and features a 50 mm isolation in the interior. The dryer comprises the dehumidification rotor, filter for process air and regeneration air, separate radial fans for process air and regeneration air, as well as the complete electrical equipment.

  • Feasible compression: 280 Pa (dry air side) or 150 Pa (humid air side), respectively
  • Overall power rating: 80.5 kW
  • Electrical power input regeneration heater: 72 kW
  • Sound pressure level: 73 dB
