Pulsation-Free Metering

Coperion K-Tron

Thanks to their sturdy design, the gravimetric batch blenders from Coperion K-Tron can be employed even under the toughest conditions (figure: Coperion K-Tron)

The BSP-135 metering system and various gravimetric batch blenders are being presented on the booth of Coperion K-Tron, Niederlenz, Switzerland.

The patented Bulk Solids Pump feeders were designed especially for gentle, precise and pulsation-free metering of pellets, granules and delicate bulk materials. Neither screws nor belt conveyors, etc. are used for the material transport. Instead the BSP feeders have vertical rotating discs which convey the material smoothly from storage hopper to discharge outlet. The result is a linear material flow with extremely high precision. Thanks to its compact design with only one moving part, the feeder can be cleaned in seconds and is therefore ideal for applications with frequent material changes.

The gravimetric batch blenders from Coperion K-Tron (Fig.) are on show in various sizes for 0.5 kg to 25 kg total batch weight. They can be equipped with up to eight main feed elements. Each blender has an integrated loading platform for mounting material loaders or vacuum receivers. They can easily handle both free-flowing materials and difficult bulk materials such as pigments, sticky substances, fibers and fiberglass. Thanks to the high-precision metering and weighing systems, the material feed can be exactly controlled in the required volume for each batch and is not averaged over multiple batches. Furthermore, the blenders are characterized by their compact and sturdy design.
