At the K 2016 show, Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd., Bedford, UK, founded in 1976, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with new roll slitting and winding solutions for different materials.
Thanks to the continuous development of technology and process control, the latest Atlas roll slitters can handle widths of 10.6 m, at speeds of up to 1500 m/min. The secondary Titan roll slitters include the ER610 model with a small footprint, the flexible SR800 and two models of the high-productivity SR9 series, one of which is a duplex roll slitting machine and the other a duplex turret rewinder. They allow operators to restart the machine only 30 s after a stoppage.
