WPC Innovation Award: Submissions Wanted
nova-Institute GmbH, Huerth, Germany, would like to invite interested persons to apply for the WPC Innovation Award and to present their WPC innovation to an expert audience.
For the fourth year running, the WPC Innovation Award will be presented at the German Wood-Plastic Composites Conference at the Maritim Hotel Cologne, Germany, 10-11 December 2013.
The three winners will be elected by the expert conference audience and for the second time the Award is sponsored by BASF Color Solutions Germany GmbH.
The WPC Innovation Award 2013 seeks to inspire the WPC industry – and also interested companies from outside the industry – to come up with innovative product development and product design ideas. The competition aims to stimulate the development of new, material-appropriate applications and markets for Wood-Plastic Composites (WPC).
The Innovation Award focuses on innovations that are already in production or close to market launch. Mere ideas, product prototypes without business plans and designs will not be considered.
After the Innovation Award jury has selected the top six candidates from among the applicants, their application documents will be made available for download from the conference website to give our audience and other interested individuals a first glimpse of these innovations.
Each of the top six nominated companies will give a short 10-minute presentation about its innovation on the first day of the WPC Conference. Following the presentations, the audience will pick the three winners, who will be presented with their awards at the evening event.
The six selected companies must be able to attend the event in Cologne on 10 December 2013 in order to present their product to our audience.
The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2013.
