TPS Offers New Service for the Asian Fiber Intermediates and Olefins Markets
The Petrochemical Standard (TPS), a real-time provider of critical pricing information to the global petrochemical market, introduces two new daily bulletins: the TPS Asia Fiber Intermediates Daily Bulletin and the TPS Asia Olefins Daily Bulletin.
The TPS Asia Fiber Intermediates Daily Bulletin covers the range of intermediate products which are precursors for the production of synthetic fibers as well as feedstock for making PET resin. This two-in-one publication covers the price assessments and commentaries for Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) and Monoethylene Glycol (MEG). TPS uses a refined methodology to reflect four assessment categories: CFR China, bonded cargoes, domestic price and import parity prices. In addition, TPS assesses PTA on four half-month forward laycans and MEG on six half-month forward laycans.
The TPS Asia Olefins Daily Bulletin is a two-minute daily digest that delivers daily ethylene and propylene assessments (basis CFR China). The bulletin also provides weekly assessments for butadiene; olefin product spreads to naphtha and selected derivatives; bids and offers; as well as fundamentals such as US/Yuan exchange rates, Brent Crude and rubber futures. Olefins are the building blocks for a multitude of products in the petrochemical industry.
