Fortron Industries, a joint venture between Ticona Engineering Polymers and Kureha Chemicals Industries of Japan, has announced plans to increase PPS capacity in Wilmington, NC/USA. The additional capacity here will be available for the PPS market from the third quarter of 2007. In total, the plant can produce 15,000 t/a and thereby cover growing world demand for PPS.
