Thermal Care Gets New President
IPEG, Inc., an industrial group with subsidiaries serving the plastics-processing, waste-recycling, and industrial heat-transfer markets, has appointed Lee Sobocinski to the position of President of its Thermal Care, Inc. business. Sobocinski, who has served as the company’s Director of Sales for the past two years, will now assume overall responsibility for Thermal Care sales, service, engineering, marketing, and operations.
Sobocinski started his plastics industry career in 1998 as an application and sales engineer for ACS Group, a maker of cooling, material handling, and other auxiliary equipment. There, he advanced to manage inside sales, then systems sales until 2004 when he was appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at DeCrane Aerospace Aircraft Seating, which promoted him to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2008. Following the acquisition of that business by Goodrich Cabin Seating Systems in 2010, Sobocinski returned to ACS Group in 2011 as its AEC National Sales Manager until 2014, when he joined Thermal Care.
With operations based in Niles, IL/USA, Thermal Care is a leading developer and manufacturer of custom heat transfer systems and equipment, serving more than 50 industries including plastics, lasers, heat treating, food processing, machine tool, plating, anodizing, chemical, die casting, optical coating, and printing.
