In the Czech Republic, the plastics and rubber industry is well established and plastics manufacturer´s key customers include the automotive, electronics and packaging industries. Interest in manufacturing machinery and equipment is quite high and it is this customer target group that the International Fair of Plastics, Rubber and Composites Plastex addresses.

This year, the traditional venue, Hall G1, will be filled with more than 185 exhibitors. In addition to regular exhibitors, some newcomers will be introduced, such as two companies from Ukraine; eleven countries will be represented in total. Some exhibitors have already revealed what visitors of their expositions can look forward to.

For example Arburg will present two main elements of plastics processing this year. At their stand, we will see a live multi-component combined joint injection and additive production of individual functional components with a complex geometry.

Stäubli have focused on maximizing mould exchange speeds so that no downtime in production occurs and will present a fully automated solution for complete replacement, including clamping, transporting and power connection, in Hall G1. The automated plastics cell will also contain collaborative robots controlling the press

Additional opportunities to get more information are offered through the supporting programme with conferences on 3D Printing, Industry 4.0, or current business support options.
