SPE Looking for New Managing Director
The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) has begun the process of recruiting a new managing director, it was announced on Monday. The new managing director will combine tasks of the current commercial director and the current managing director, who are both retiring soon. Based at the SPE headquarters office (which will soon be relocated from Newtown to Danbury, CT), the new managing director will focus on the North American operations of SPE and report to SPE’s international CEO, Willem De Vos.
“The new managing director will play a key role in SPE’s strategy of reaching out more effectively to a vast North American audience of young industry people who stand to benefit from what our organization has to offer,” said Mr. De Vos. “SPE’s operations have been improved substantially over the last year, but more investments in new technologies are needed in the coming period.”
SPE has posted the position with Gros Executive Recruiters.
