Sepro Group Appoints New Chief Sales Officer
Xavier Lucas Changed Position
Sepro Group has appointed Xavier Lucas to be Chief Sales Officer. He also serves as a member of the company’s global management board with responsibility for managing the worldwide robot sales, automation and service network.
“Xavier Lucas will be in charge of developing our sales worldwide, on all of our markets,” said Eric Radat, President of Sepro Group. “His strong knowledge in the fields of robotics, services and automation will guarantee a deeper and broader value for our customers. I wish Xavier the best success in his new responsibilities.”
After he joined the company in August 2018 as Global Service and Automation Director, Lucas led Sepro’s efforts to diversify and expanded its automation capabilities and partnerships, created collaborative robot solutions, and expanded the reach and quality of its global service activities. Prior to his arrival at Sepro Group in August 2018, he worked at leading position jobs for a worldwide leader in the robot’s industry for more than a decade. (bf)
1973 Paul Radat created Sepro Engineering (Société d’Etude de nouveaux Produits) with the activity of automating processes for the fabrication of sheet metal parts. Sepro was one of the first companies in the world to develop cartesian beam robots for injection-molding machines, introducing its first CNC controlled “manipulator” in 1981. Today it has 11 subsidiaries and a network of 40 distributors, which represents the brand worldwide. The headquarters are in La Roche-sur-Yon (France).
