PTi: Changes within Staff
PTi Extruders, Aurora, IL/USA, a global manufacturer of high-performance sheet extrusion machinery, has announced a new hire and several new promotions as part of a staffing upgrade to meet future market growth. The appointments will help position the company to meet the growing worldwide demand for its high-performance plastic sheet extrusion equipment.
Rodd “JR” Duff has been appointed director of business development and strategic accounts for PTi Extruders, a key role as the company seeks to tap new growth markets. Duff has over 20 years of managerial experience in the plastics extrusion sheet business ands brings a broad range of expertise in sales, engineering, and production.
Patrick D. Johnsen, formerly a product sales manager, has been named eastern regional sales manager for PTi Extruders. His territory includes the northeastern U.S., eastern Canada, Turkey, and Israel.
Robert Williams, formerly inside sales engineer, has been named product sales supervisor. He will work with customers to properly size plastic extrusion machinery to meet specific production requirements and assemble and quote final proposals for plastic sheet extrusion systems.
Aaron Barkema has been promoted to the newly created position of director of sourcing. Barkema was previously instrumental in creating PTi’s Project Management Group. In his new job, Barkema will have the Project Management Group and the Materials Group reporting to him.
