PolyOne: New Director Process Improvement
PolyOne Corporation, Cleveland, OH, USA, announced that Brett Warland has joined the Company as Director, Process Improvement. He will work across the Company’s global business units and functions to select, prioritize and manage Lean Six Sigma projects. On an ongoing basis, Warland will monitor progress and review project results to seek further opportunities for improvement. He has been a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt since 2005.
Warland’s previous experience includes serving as the director of process improvement for H.B. Fuller Company, a global manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, coatings, paints, and specialty chemicals. There, he helped improve the company’s bottom line by running Lean Six Sigma projects that focused on areas including growing the core business, sales force automation, inventory control, and pricing strategies.
Warland graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering and a minor in economics. He went on to earn his MBA in operations and marketing from Indiana University.
