Obituary for Frank Ananda Gupta
After a short illness, Frank Ananda Gupta passed away on 11 August 2012 in Ratingen, Germany. The long-time editor of the polyurethane industry magazines PU Magazin, PU Magazine International, and PU Magazine for China, died at the age of 48 years from cancer.
Together with his father, Dr. Heinz Gupta, he founded the Dr. Gupta Verlag in Ratingen in 1994. They addressed themselves to the publication of the traditional rubber magazine GAK Gummi Fasern Kunststoffe.
At K 2001, Dr. Gupta Verlag launched PU Magazin, a new German-language technical magazine for the polyurethane industry, and Frank Ananda Gupta took over responsibility for this new project.
Angela Austin, in recent years, both professionally and privately at his side, will continue his work as
Editor-in-Chief. Furthermore, the publishing team will be strengthened by Indira Gupta, sister of the
deceased, which will be responsible for marketing and sales.
