New Head of the Business Unit Foam
Josef Art Succeeds Wolfgang Frehsdorf at KraussMaffei
In KraussMaffei's Reaction Process Machinery division is a change at the top. Josef Art succeeds Wolfgang Frehsdorf, who will be retiring at the end of June. As the new Head of Business Unit Foam, he will be responsible for worldwide sales and project engineering for machines and systems for the manufacture of soft and hard foam components, as well as for the German locations Harderberg (production of foam molds) and Viersen (production of punching and cutting technologies).
Josef Art sees the main focus of his new task as Head of BU Foam primarily in strengthening and further developing the KraussMaffei portfolio of high-quality system solutions for PUR processing, as well as in expanding the worldwide sales and service network.
The graduate industrial engineer Josef Art has 20 years of professional experience in leading positions in various companies such as BMW, Sellner Group and Misslbeck Kunststoffzentrum (Plastics Center). Most recently, he was Managing Director at Votteler, the manufacturer of paint systems, where he was in charge of Sales & Development.
Josef Art's predecessor Wolfgang Frehsdorf has worked at KraussMaffei for over 30 years. During this period, he has played a decisive role, first as Technical Manager, then as Head of the Business Unit Foam, in the development of KraussMaffei Reaction Process Machinery.
