MHT to Close Luxemburg Division
MHT Mold & Hotrunner Technology AG, Hochheim/Main, Germany, is going to close their Luxemburg division, located in Mertert, until the end of this year.
According to a press release, MHT is focusing on streamlining their overall company structure to improve efficiency. This strategy will combine the sales and engineering departments of their Luxemburg division, which was founded in 1998, with the headquarters located in Hochheim/Main Germany. “This restructuring will strengthen our relationships and bring us closer to our customers worldwide and enable us to respond more quickly to market demands” says CEO Christoph Kückels.
MHT produces high precision injection molds and hot runners for the packaging industry. MHT manufactures PET preform molds with up to 192 cavities for all of the major PET injection machine manufacturers. After the closure of the Luxemburg division, the company will have four production and service locations in Germany, the USA, Brazil and China
