Markus Reinhold Becomes CTO
New Chief Technical Officer at Steinert
Steinert GmbH, Cologne, Germany, appoints Dr Markus Reinhold as new Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Reinhold (47) will thereby take over the role of current CTO Dr Uwe Habich, who will move to strategic business development within Steinert. The advisory board reached this decision on 12 December 2019 and Reinhold will take up his new position in January 2020.

New CTO Reinhold has 20 years of experience in international plant construction and mechanical engineering. He has held various management positions national and abroad. Holding a doctorate in engineering, the strategic focus of the new CTO is technology management, product development and setting up modern IoT customer services.

Steinert can look back on a 130-year history: founded in 1889 in Cologne, Germany, the family-owned company is active in the field of sensor sorting and magnetic separation. With 340 employees, the company generates an annual turnover of around EUR 100 million. In addition to 50 sales partnerships and joint ventures around the globe, the company also has subsidiaries in Germany, Australia, the USA, and Brazil.
