Maicopresse Celebrates 40th Anniversary with Open House
Founded 40 years ago by Mario Busi and Mario Spotti in Brescia, Italy, Maicopresse Spa grew steadily in the past decades, specializing in mid-sized and large injection molding machines built on demand. The second generation ownership, the offspring of the two original founders, scheduled an Open House on January 16th and 17th 2015 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their company.
A number of high-tech machineries were shown in the factory, both injection molding machines for thermoplastics and die casting machines for metallic alloys; many of them were equipped with the latest evolution of Maicopresse’s patented mechanical clamping with full-electric drive which grants superior performance and precision in compare with the common hydraulic clamping, together with a dramatic cut in the power consumption.
Fabio Busi, C.E.O., was very satisfied with the event: "To be frank, this event has been the first experience of the kind for our company, traditionally more oriented to production than to communication: it has been a very rewarding surprise to see the wide enthusiasm of our work power and the true commitment they have poured into this successful celebration." The current management shows utter commitment to the brand established by their fathers, together with their inclination to favor the use of components produced in the surrounding city of Brescia instead of outsourcing them from low-cost countries.
Together with its automation partner (the brand “Irobi” that celebrates also the 30th year of activity) Maicopresse will perform a global turnover exceeding EUR 25 million for 2014, sales being mostly concentrated in Italy, Germany and Eastern Europe.
