Intelligent Packaging, Sustainable Protection

Picture Gallery from Interpack 2017

Digitization, Industry 4.0 and sustainability were the focus of Interpack 2017. In Düsseldorf, Germany, around 2800 exhibitors presented their innovations along the entire value chain of the packaging industry on May 4-17, 2017.

New materials, processes and applications showed that packaging today is far more than pure protective covers. Modern packaging - they think for themselves, remind us, make food more durable, warm them at the push of a button, they influence our senses with appearance, smell and haptics and sometimes they can even speak.

Please find below some impressions from this year's Interpack .

  • Safe, efficient and sustainable: apart from their actual function, the protection of the contents, packaging must fulfill a variety of functions today. Particularly in the food sector, the consumer places high demands on packaging.
