Incoe USA Moves to Auburn Hills
Hot Runner Manufacturer Builds New Global Headquarters
Incoe Corporation USA successfully moved three facilities in the Metro Detroit area into their new 12,820 m2 Global Headquarters. Formerly headquartered in Troy, Michigan, the new facility is located in Auburn Hills which is also located in the Metro Detroit area. Bob Fons, Plant Manager for Incoe commented, “Over the four week move of manufacturing and office equipment we were always operational in some capacity. Hot runner systems were continually being designed, manufactured, inspected and assembled throughout the entire process.”
In keeping with a culture built on customer focus, a section of the facility is reserved as a customer knowledge center, including a 220 m2 molding laboratory. Within this area, Incoe and their industry partners will hold large training and informational seminars which will also include hands-on training inside the molding lab. The molding lab is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year with 3 KraussMaffei injection molding machines.
The new global headquarters project reached its completion during the year that Incoe celebrates their 60th anniversary. The company was founded in 1958 by Alex Seres, who developed and patented the first commercial hot runner nozzle.
