IChemE: Chemical Engineering Students Set for India Exchange
The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) has teamed up with the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) to give students the chance to participate in a free exchange program.
The scheme will be jointly funded by IChemE and the IIChE and will see four IChemE student members spend a week in India during September and four Indian students travel to the UK for a week in November. The placements will include industry site visits, attending a national chemical engineering conference or event and cultural excursions. The scheme is open to student members of IChemE and IIChE in their final year of chemical engineering studies or undertaking a postgraduate study. The closing date for applications is 31 July 2010.
