Changes at Husky
New Key Positions for Wes Grove and Aurelien Bastien
Husky Injection Molding Systems, Bolton, Canada, announced organizational and leadership changes to its Hot Runners, Controllers and Medical (HRCM) business. These changes align with Husky’s growth strategy and capitalize on existing synergies within its global operations team.
“In our quest to anticipate and exceed customer needs Husky is continuously evolving,” said John Galt, Husky’s President and CEO. Since 2017, Husky has been expanding its digitalized Next Generation Operating Model (NGOM), aligning several of the company’s operations teams under this program. Earlier this year the company moved the Rigid Packaging Operations team under NGOM, which has proven instrumental in supporting strong growth for this business.
Next Step in the NGOM Expansion
Husky’s recent changes follow this model and involve further expanding the NGOM team to include HRCM operations. As a result, Wes Grove, who previously had the position of Vice President of Operations for the company’s NGOM program, has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer. In his new capacity, he is now responsible for the company’s NGOM, Rigid Packaging and HRCM global operations teams. Since joining Husky in 2000, he has held increasingly key positions that span Sales Support, Operations, Design and Development Engineering at Husky campuses around the world.
In addition, Aurelien Bastien has been appointed to the role of President to Husky's HRCM business. Since joining Husky in 2004, he has held roles of increasing responsibility throughout the global organization and brings a wealth of business, product, customer and competitive knowledge to this role. Leading up to this appointment, he was Vice President of Beverage Packaging China, Japan and Korea, where he contributed to business growth in Asia Pacific.
Stefano Mirti, Husky’s former President of HRCM, is leaving the organization after an outstanding 24-year career with the company. (bf)
