Greg Temple Joins Husky’s Leadership Team
The supplier of injection molding equipment and services, Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. from Canada, employs Greg Temple into the Husky’s leadership team in the role of Vice President Global Supply Chain and Operations. Greg is a senior operations executive with experience in the industrial, chemical, and consumer products sectors.
“Our business is maturing in a very dynamic environment and how we organize our operations and supply chain functions to respond to market demands is vital to our long-term growth” said John Galt, President and CEO. “Greg’s experience and success at integrating operations and business strategy and implementing lean transformations on a global scale is a great addition to our leadership team.”
As a member of Husky’s leadership team, Greg will look to optimize Husky’s manufacturing footprint, capabilities, and capacities, as well as leverage their collective scale for global procurement. “What motivated me to join Husky is that they’re at an exciting point in their evolution,” said Greg Temple. “As Husky continues to strengthen its position in a highly competitive environment, I see the important role that operations and supply chain will play and I’m looking forward to being a part of this growth story.”
In his most recent role, Greg was Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Kennametal, a tooling and engineering components manufacturer in Pittsburgh, PA/USA. Prior to this he held a number of global leadership positions including Corporate Vice President of Global Operations for Avery Dennison where he provided functional oversight for 75 plants and 160 warehouses across 25 countries. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA, specializing in Finance and Technology from the University of California.
