Uwe Röhrhoff (48) became new CEO at Gerresheimer AG in Düsseldorf, Germany. Röhrhoff has been a Member of the Board since 2003, and was appointed Chairman by the Supervisory Board at the end of March. He is successor to Dr. Axel Herberg (51), who had led the company for ten years, and will enter the Supervisory Board on September 1, 2010. Business economist Röhrhoff has worked for Gerresheimer since 20 years, where he was last responsible for the molded glass (container glass) and life science research (laboratory glass) business units.
