FRX Polymers: Ground Breaking Ceremony
FRX Polymers, Chelmsford, MA, USA, celebrated in September the first turn of the spade in the construction of a new manufacturing plant on the Scheldelaan in Antwerp, Belgium. The ceremony was attended by several dozen dignitaries and industry representatives. After the first spade was turned, speeches and a photo opportunity, the participants were received at Antwerp City Hall for a cocktail and a welcome by the mayor.

The superior properties of the plastics and additives that FRX Polymers will produce on a commercial scale in Antwerp are used in the aerospace, transportation, lighting, electrical instruments, textiles, and in a diverse number of applications in the consumer electronics industry.
