EuCIA and GlassFibreEurope Join Forces

EuCIA and GlassFibreEurope announced their mutual partnership in the field of reinforced plastics.

EuCIA and GlassFibreEurope, presented by their presidents Volker Fritz and Mauro Malanchini agreed to work together in EuCIA in order to strengthen the position of Reinforced Composites in Europe. As of June 1st GlassFibreEurope will be an important member of EuCIA.

GlassFibreEurope is European wide active, is member of Glass Alliance Europe (formerly CPIV) and is deeply involved in the international Glass business. It has developed close partnerships with European Glass Sector Associations and engages with up- and downstream users like CEFIC (Conseil Européen de l’Industrie Chimique) and PlasticsEurope.

The organisation represents around 6,000 employees in the EU-27 and in Turkey. Glass Fibres are reinforcing composite applications ranging from the automotive and transportation sector to wind energy, agriculture, construction, communication, electrical and electronic, sport and leisure.

EuCIA, the European Composite Industry Association based in Brussels is the voice of the European Composite Industry, representing the National Composite Organisations and important Material Groups. The organisation

represents through their members almost 10.000 Companies and 150.000 employees. Based on their 3 pillar strategy, grow / know / show, the organisation is a well-accepted partner of several European Institutions and maintains active contacts in the European Composite Industry.
