Erema Discovery Days 2012

The grand opening of the Customer Centre was the highlight of the Erema Discovery Days 2012 (20 – 22 June 2012) during which international customers and Erema agents had the opportunity to experience technological developments first-hand.

The Erema Customer Centre at the headquarters of the world’s leading manufacturer of plastic recycling systems was officially opened on Friday 22 June 2012 in Ansfelden near Linz, Austria. Having invested EUR 5 million in its Customer Centre Erema has now realised an ambitious project in customer service. Seven systems in operation on 1,200 sqm of floor space will be available for customers to carry out test runs for their own materials. Existing and potential customers can experience live how these test materials are turned into recycled pellets. Erema already carries out over 400 trials every year for customers throughout the entire world.

The newly developed Corema technology was presented at the Discovery Days and brings together all the benefits of recycling and compounding in one system. This gives customers a whole host of opportunities along the value added chain. The necessary compounding technology comes from Coperion, Stuttgart, Germany.
