Eliokem Increases Capacity

Eliokem, Villejust, France, will expand by 20% the capacity of Wingstay L in the Ningbo plant (China) by June 2008 in response to the fast increasing demand in Asia. The capacity increase will allow the company to process increasing orders from its existing customers while responding to the fast growing demand both in China and Asia. The strategic decision to expand the capacity of Wingstay L in the Ningbo plant is also part of the company’s commitment to continue providing complete and long term quality service to its customers in the region. Specifically designed for the production of Wingstay L, the state-of-the-art plant was built in 2004 to support growth demand of the molecule and strengthen the leadership position of Eliokem worldwide. All along, regular and important investments were made to respond to the most stringent rules on quality management and environment with the plant receiving both ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001 certifications only a few months after its start up in November 2004.

Wingstay L produced in Ningbo is available in the various physical forms required by the industry. It is especially recommended for the protection of elastic threads and medical gloves. It also contributes to the stabilization of high-value natural and synthetic polymers based on isoprene and butadiene like the ABS.
