DuPont Breaks Ground for a New Plant
DuPont Engineering Polymers officially started working on the construction of its new production facility for Vespel parts and shapes, when it hosts a groundbreaking ceremony at the site in Singapore on October, 30th 2006. The new facility is expected to be operational in early 2008. The company offers five families of Vespel parts and shapes that meet stringent requirements for weight reduction, long service life, chemical exposure and/or extreme temperatures. Primary markets are global aerospace, semiconductor, industrial and transportation industries, as well as in office machine and pump applications.
