Dow: New Vice President for Polyurethanes Unit

The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) named Torsten Kraef as the new business group vice president of Dow Polyurethanes, a global business unit within Dow that includes the Propylene Oxide, Propylene Glycol, Isocyanates and Polyols businesses. He was named to the position in August.

Kraef has been with Dow for almost 20 years. He has served in a variety of roles, mainly in business and commercial leadership, but also in finance and supply chain. He most recently served as business group vice president of Dow Building and Construction, a business group within Dow’s Advanced Materials division, where he led three business units – Dow Building Solutions, Dow Construction Chemicals and Solar Solutions.

In his new position he succeeds Guillermo Novo, who has been named business group vice president of Dow Coating Materials.
