Dow Chemical: Force Majeure for Polyether Polyols Ended
The Dow Chemical Company has ended force majeure for all polyether polyol products manufactured at Freeport, Texas.
The Company declared force majeure on September 19, due to the impact of Hurricane Ike and the disruptions to power and utilities, raw material supplies and logistics, including disruptions caused by Hurricane Gustav.
The company has recovered sufficiently and expects to supply customers with polyether polyol products as before the hurricanes.
