DieMould India 2014 Expects More than 30,000 Visitors
The 9th Biennial Die & Mould International Exhibition, DieMould India, will take place from April 17-20, 2014 in Mumbai, India. The event is organized by the Tool and Gauge Manufacturers Association - India (TAGMA-India).
DieMould India 2014 will spread over 20,000 m2 and provide all businesses related to the tooling industry an ideal opportunity to display and market their products and services. The exhibition is the only trade fair in India for the die and mold industry.
The exhibitor range includes suppliers of dies and molds, press tools, mold base and standard parts of dies and molds, hot runner systems, tool steel, heat treatment, texturizing, gauges, CAD/CAM systems related to dies and molds, die spotting, digitizing, additive manufacturing/ 3-D printing, rapid prototyping & modeling, machine tools for dies and molds, CNC milling/machining centers, molding machine/die casting machines, accessories for machine tools, die/molding polishing machines, cutting tools, and measuring machines.
According to Bhaskar Kanchan of TAGMA India, the previous edition of Die & Mould Exhibition held in Mumbai was highly successful with a steady growth, of over 23% in number of exhibitors, 20% in visitors and 17% in exhibition area, the highlight being two Country Pavilions from China and Germany. The event attracted exhibitors, delegations and visitors from over 25 countries worldwide.
The periodic survey “The Indian Tooling Industry" conducted in 2011, shows that the industry market size in 2011-12 was Rs. 17,000 crores with imports accounting to 35 %. Current estimated growth is 15 %.
