Davis-Standard: New Vice Presidents
Chetan Balsara has joined Davis-Standard LLC, Pawcatuck, Conn., USA, as vice president and chief information officer. Balsara will be providing leadership and direction for the company’s Information Technology group worldwide. Balsara comes to Davis-Standard from Buckeye Partners of Houston, Texas, where he was the director of application services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering in Bombay, India.
Sekaran Murugaiah has joined Davis-Standard as vice president of business development for Asia-Pacific. Murugaiah will lead the sales, service and installation organizations within the Asia-Pacific region. He brings to this position 30 years of broad leadership and functional experience, with a history of general management, commercial and operations leadership positions in various industries and countries in the Asia-Pacific area. His last role was that of general manager, Asia-Pacific for the Graphics and Reflective division of Avery Dennison. Murugaiah holds a bachelor of engineering degree from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London.
Todd Pearson has joined Davis-Standard as vice president of global operational excellence. He comes to Davis-Standard from Fortune 1000 industrial electronic equipment company Belden, based in Suzhou, China, where he was director of operations, Asia-Pacific.
Pearson holds a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA from Michigan State University.
