Daetwyler Rubber: Expanding Business in NAFTA Countries
Daetwyler Rubber, Schattdorf, Switzerland, a part of the Swiss Daetwyler Group, is expanding its presence in NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) countries.
In July 2008 the company will open a new plant in Las Colinas Industrial Park, a commercial development close to Silao, Mexico. The new production site within the so-called “Golden Triangle” of Mexico will offer 5000m2 production space.
In the NAFTA zone more and more American factories of OEM carmakers and their suppliers are moving to Mexico, to utilize the advantages Mexico offers as a low-cost country known for its strong industrial development.
